Then we’re off to Philadelphia, where history lives on. Gaze at the Liberty Bell, whose crack made it even more iconic, and step back in time at Independence Hall — the birthplace of American independence. We’ll end the day in Washington, D.C.
Today is all about the monuments, memorials, and milestones of America’s capital. See the White House, the U.S. Capitol, Lincoln Memorial, and the moving WWII and Vietnam War memorials. You’ll also visit the National Museum of African American History and Culture, where over 40,000 artifacts bring stories of heritage, struggle, and triumph to life.
Leave the city buzz behind and roll into the peaceful farmlands of Pennsylvania’s Lancaster County. Here, the Amish and Mennonite communities still live much like they did centuries ago. Learn about their traditions and way of life before sitting down to a hearty dinner — and yes, you’ll get the chance to make your own whoopie pies for dessert.
Travel through scenic Pennsylvania landscapes to the Corning Museum of Glass, where you’ll witness the delicate craft of glassblowing and marvel at masterpieces in its galleries. Later, cross the border into Canada and arrive at the breathtaking Niagara Falls.
