  • 1. Valid Passport
    • Must be valid for at least 3 months beyond your intended return date
    • Must contain at least 2 blank pages

  • 2. Completed Schengen Visa Application Form
    • Effective June 2025, applicants must complete the online Visa Application Form on the VFS Global appointment portal when scheduling their appointment.
  • 3. Recent Passport Photographs — 2 copies
    • White background, ICAO-compliant specifications
  • 4. UAE Residence Visa + Emirates ID
    • Both documents are mandatory. Your UAE residence visa should have at least 3 months of remaining validity at the time of application. Emirates ID must be original plus a clear colour photocopy of both sides.
  • 5. Round-Trip Flight Bookings
    • Confirmed or reserved itinerary showing entry and exit dates
  • 6. Proof of Accommodation — Every Night of Stay
    • Hotel bookings, confirmed Airbnb reservations, or a host invitation letter
    • Must cover every single night of your trip
  • 7. Schengen Travel Insurance
    • Legally required. Must provide at least €30,000 of medical coverage, be valid in all Schengen countries, and cover your full travel dates.
  • 8. Bank Statements — Last 3 to 6 Months
    • Must demonstrate sufficient funds for your entire trip
    • Salary certificate or trade licence for business owners
  • 9. Proof of Employment / Income
    • Employed applicants: company NOC / No Objection Certificate + employment contract
    • Self-employed: trade licence copy
