Why Spain? Because Ordinary Holidays Are Overrated.
In 2025, Spain welcomed a record-breaking number of international tourists, and it is easy to see why. From flamenco shows in Andalusia to the architectural wonders of Catalonia, the country offers a unique experience for every traveller.
Barcelona
Home to Gaudí's masterworks. Barcelona deserves 3–4 days to fully explore its Gaudí sites and vibrant neighbourhoods.
Madrid
Madrid beat out Barcelona as the most visited Spanish city by foreign tourists during the summer, drawing travellers with its world-class museums, the Prado, the Bernabéu Stadium, and the Royal Palace.
Seville
Seville is elegant and refined, the cradle of flamenco music, home to the breathtaking Giralda tower, the Torre de Oro, and the magnificent Alcázar palace.
Granada
The Alhambra palace complex is one of the most visited monuments in Europe. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it sits above the city like a red-gold crown.
Costa Brava & Costa del Sol
The Costa Brava's true highlights are its tiny coves. You will often need to walk down steep, rocky steps to reach a small patch of sand with perfectly clear water.
La Rioja & Wine Country
For something off the beaten path, La Rioja's vineyards occupy the Ebro valley below the Cantabrian Mountains, and the region's wineries range from small, traditional cellars to major commercial producers.
Best Time to Visit Spain from UAE
Summer (June to August) is best for beach holidays, while spring and autumn are ideal for city visits and festivals. If you are heading to Barcelona or the coast, summer is electric. For Seville, Granada, or Madrid, note that inland cities regularly exceed 38–40°C in July and August, making afternoon sightseeing genuinely uncomfortable.Ready to book your Spain holiday from UAE?
