Day 2: Through the Heart of Death Valley

Venture into the extremes of Death Valley National Park, where vast desert vistas stretch endlessly. Stop at Zabriskie Point for breathtaking panoramas and walk on the surreal salt flats of Badwater Basin, the lowest point in North America. Continue through rocky canyons and rugged landscapes before arriving in the mountain town of Mammoth Lakes.

Begin your morning with a gondola ride up Mammoth Mountain (seasonal), savoring breakfast with sweeping alpine views. Then trace the picturesque June Lake Loop before crossing into Yosemite National Park. Pass glacial Tenaya Lake and the meadows of Tuolumne before arriving in Yosemite Valley, framed by its iconic granite walls.
