Visit the Morris Thompson Cultural & Visitors Center and the Museum of the North to explore Alaska’s heritage and natural wonders. This evening, venture outside the city for your first chance to witness the Northern Lights dancing across the Arctic sky.

Travel south along the Parks Highway, passing frozen rivers and mountain vistas on your way to Denali National Park. Learn about the park’s wildlife and ecosystem at the Denali Visitor Center before an evening aurora hunt with photography guidance from a local expert.
