You will enjoy a guided tour of Jakarta, which is the bustling capital of Indonesia. You will visit the former Batavia area, which is the cultural melting pot with a rich colonial history. It has a unique mix of sleek skyscrapers and serene historical sites. Opt to see the Angklung Orchestra to experience a divine melodic journey.

Get on a morning train and enjoy the cultural heart of Java- Yogakarta. It is the centre for Javanese culture, featuring the royal palace and ancient temples. Upon arrival, you can opt to go for a cycling tour or take in a Ramayana dance performance.

Venture into their temples, especially the Prambanan Hindu temple complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These massive ancient temples are easily accessible from the city.

Visit Borobudur, the most recognised heritage site. It is one of the largest Buddhist temples with intricate stupas. Gain a deeper understanding of Buddhist culture here. You can use your free time to explore Yogakarta.

Continue the journey across Ngadas village that offers a unique cultural experience and incredible views. It serves as a getaway to major attractions like Hindu temples and festivals. Experience local culture in a supported community homestay.

Start early for a pre-dawn trek across the "sea of sand" to Mt Bromo. The stunning natural scenery is something every traveller should witness. You can experience the Buddhist Tenggerese people, who show a unique blend of Hindu, Buddhist, and other cultures. You can head back to Ngadas for lunch and explore more of the village later on. We will later travel to Malang for the night.

Drive to Malang to Surabaya airport for a short flight to Sanur. You can enjoy calm, shallow, east-facing beaches with gentle waves. Spend the afternoon there, closing with a sunset.
