Arrive in Zagreb, Croatia’s political and cultural heart. Take time to soak in the rhythm of the city — its squares, markets, and cobbled alleys — before meeting your Travel Director and fellow travellers this evening for a warm welcome dinner.
Zagreb’s medieval charm takes centre stage today. Wander the Upper Town and admire St. Mark’s Church with its colourful tiled roof and centuries-old frescoes. Later, journey through Slovenia’s emerald countryside to the lakeside gem of Bled — where the calm waters mirror Alpine peaks and a cliffside castle stands guard above the shore.
Wake to the tranquil beauty of Lake Bled. Stroll along its scenic paths, gaze up at the 11th-century castle perched high above, or simply enjoy the stillness that has inspired poets for centuries. The mirror-like lake, the Julian Alps beyond, and the gentle hum of the countryside make this day pure serenity.
Leave Bled behind and journey to Ljubljana, Slovenia’s storybook capital. Discover its blend of medieval and modern, where the Triple Bridge connects the old town to lively squares watched over by the hilltop castle. Continue south to Postojna to explore its awe-inspiring caves before crossing into Croatia’s coastal haven, Opatija — an elegant seaside town once adored by kings and composers alike.
Start in Pula with a visit to its magnificent 1st-century Roman Arena — one of the best-preserved amphitheatres in the world. Then, continue to the seaside town of Rovinj, where narrow cobbled lanes and pastel houses tumble down to the Adriatic. End the day back in Opatija, perhaps taking a quiet walk along the charming Lungomare promenade.
