You arrive in Istanbul and are transferred to your hotel. In the evening, you meet your tour leader and fellow travelers, then enjoy a guided Istanbul street food walk, discovering local flavors and hidden lanes of the city.
You explore the historic heart of Istanbul, such as Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace Gardens, Basilica Cistern, and the vibrant Spice Bazaar.
You fly to Cappadocia and visit the Göreme Open Air Museum, famous for its rock-cut churches. Later, you experience traditional pottery making in Avanos and enjoy a hands-on Gozleme cooking experience with a local family.
You enjoy a flexible day in Cappadocia, with options to join a hot air balloon ride, explore the fairy chimneys and valleys, visit a Turkish bath, or relax while taking in the unique landscapes.
You explore the Kaymakli Underground City, then travel to Konya to visit the Mevlana Museum, the spiritual home of Rumi. In the evening, you board an overnight train to Izmir.
You arrive in Izmir and enjoy breakfast along the Cornish Cordon waterfront. You walk through the historic Agora and Kemeraltı Bazaar, then travel to Selçuk, with free time to explore or relax.
You explore the magnificent Ancient City of Ephesus, including the Library of Celsus and the Great Theatre. Later, you enjoy a scenic walk from Çile to Ahmetbeyli, ending the day with a farewell dinner and fruit wine tasting.
